Henry the the housekeeper was perfect guy. He was a really nice person. Always helping me with my doubts and concerned about what do I need. For other instance the place was neat but no as comfortable for one stayover. Quiet expensive for my point of view. But the attention they bring was really good.
Quite unusual as all is self check in... There are no staff on site, so wouldn't recommend to lone women travellers, however instructions are pretty clear and ?owners are responsive to contact (I had to get in touch via Whatsapp due to difficulties checking in having not received emails with check-in instructions). Good communications and the house we stayed in (1 of 4) was clean throughout. Location is ok , train station nearby (can't comment however as we travelled by car).Just not somewhere I would be comfortable staying on my own. Other downfall (personally) is babies are permitted to stay, which is not something I am used to experiencing in a hostel.
The lady was really nice and helpful. The location is great. Super close walking to the skytrain and metrotown. The beds were really uncomfortable and they were literally just mattresses on the floor. Wouldn't stay here more than a night or two. But it depends what u want in a place.
The manager is so Rude with people. They don't let you pay with credit or debit is so expensive and is doesn't worth it. They don't let you stay not even a minute after your check in. And if you want to stay another day they told you cant because they have other reservations so your stay is not sure.I definitely don't recommend this place. I made a lot of friends that was the only good thing.
Not good overall. Sketchy operation, very informal and unprofessional. They demanded I pay in cash despite having a deposit in advance on my credit card. They promised to refund my CC but there are still two charges on there, working on getting that refunded. They asked for a lot of personal information which I refused. There are multiple locations and I was forced to carry my luggage around the block to go to another house despite being dropped off by a cab at the primary location. It was not very clean, reminded me of a frat house with junk in the yard and crappy, unused furniture all over the house. There is no-one on site if you have a question or request. This is only my 2nd hostel experience, didn't hold a candle to the first, not impressed. Would not go back.
