Are all the other hotels in the lower mainland booked full? Probably just sleep in your car, the service will be better than at the 401. Out of three rooms we booked, one had an AC that didnt work and a run down bathroom, another had a shower that didnt work, and the third was okay except the musty smell.
Nice upgrade however they gauged us on second and third night stay almost doubling the original nights price. Very unhappy about this. Don't stay here more than one night. You have been warned!
OK...never ever stay at this motel. 1. Nothing but drug dealers 2. There is a white old maid and an asian maid, they both steal!! Make sure you stay in the room when they come to clean it...if they clean it.3. BED BUGS!!!! I found these creepy crawlers on my sheet right before i was about to go to bed. NASTY NASTY place!!!! It has to be shut down or sold.
THEY HAVE BED BUGS. ! I stayed at this hotel with my dog and my friend from toronto in July . The front desk lady who claims to be part owner, was seen putting out a couple who was clearly having a hard time,basically kicking them while they were down even though they had money to stay . She also was desperate and greedy and was refusing to giving us our deposit back because of an argument we had about finding bed Bugs in our room . We found a total of 4 bed bugs ! She even came into the room seen them herself and still wouldnt admit their fault . The room smelt like paint and it was just a over all terrible situation. Never again and I hope they get shut down for keeping an establishment like this open and taking hard workers money .
Rude people at the front desk. Didn't like the 401 hotel. Got woken up at 8:30 in the morning by some lady saying she couldn't sleep with all the noise. Yet everyone was still sleeping. She woke up my baby. We tried to cancel our room and they said they would have to charge us a day. So we had no choice to stay there. Never staying there again. The worst experience in a hotel ever. Not to mention the drug dealers on the conner.
