All right, to start off my reservation went sideways due to some unforeseen issues with booking. The two gentlemen at the front desk, Pablo and Alan did an amazing job, I was agitated, they both kept cool heads and helped me solve the problems I had. Both of them are assets to this company and should be commended. Room is clean and orderly. Thank you again Pablo and Alan for your help.
Very comfortable beds. Soft mattress with a decent topper. Range of soft and harder pillows. Swimming pool available. Free breakfast is surprisingly good. Lots of range and of a decent quality. The cooked breakfast less so, but everything else was really quite good. The train to downtown only takes 20 mins or so and is very cheap
The location was really good. It was near the light rail station and a bunch of stores. The beds we're quite comfortable and the garage had a safe entrance into the hotel. The rooms were quiet enough. I am sure it was not the hotel's fault, but a false alarm sounded when I was still asleep, so I had to evacuate, which was the only thing that made my stay just a little worse.
My boss and I were stranded yesterday without a phone traveling from Japan. Walked into Holiday Inn Express and talked to Seth who called a cab for us. Though we were not staying at the Holiday Inn Seth was very kind and helped us without hesitation. Thank you Seth, the next time we come we will be sure to make a reservation. Cheers
The staff are very friendly and attentive. They always greet you when you come through the lobby. I have an ihg card with them and got upgraded to a higher floor which was nice.I did have a little issue with the T.V which I mentioned. When I came back from the conference I had a different T.V which made me very happy when it worked correctly!Also a great location if you go shopping at metrotown. I have a habit of not trying clothes on at the store, so it was extremely easy for me to jump a few steps, return, and re-shop!
