If you wish to be treated as a king amongst men, the fizzledome is for you. If your wife has confiscated your wallet to prevent Saturday shenanigans, come on by for a brew. If you're having girl problems, well I feel bad for you son, because the fizzle dome's got 99 problems, mostly hygiene related, but a girl ain't one.
If you're looking for a rowdy time, definitely head on down to the "dome." You're likely to encounter a boisterous Scotsman with all the proper kilt attire deserved of a true patriot. On your visit you will surely find a pair of Aussies, different in colour and size yet possessing all the traits representative of the great down under (dreadlocks most definitely included). A scattering of other jockish imports are surely to turn up for your visit, especially if you are of the female variety and not presently engaged in a serious union. On rare, but special occasion the great Fizzle himself may make an appearance and in this case, you know it will be a night to remember. If you are visiting from out of town, like rugby, or just want to have a great time the Fizzledome should definitely be what you're doing tonight.
Two Aussies, a Scot and some Canadians all live together... No, this is not the start of a well tailored joke, it is merely the start of the perfect recipe that makes up "the dome". Never a dull moment, if those walls could talk, the stories from "the dome" would be nothing short of legendary.
I once found myself walking the streets of Burnaby aimlessly at night after a big fight with my girl friend. I came across a group of young handsome men on their roof. They asked if I wanted to join them in a game of beer darts. I didn't leave the fizzle dome for 36 hours. 21 pizzas were order, 257 beers were drank, 6 girls got pregnant, 1 female police officer confused for a stripper, 2 Connor McCann fights.
I find this place one of the finer hotels in the lower mainland area. Can walk up at 2AM and not a single person has ever said "we are full" like some of the places downtown. Drinks are very well priced as well as other condiments on offer. Other guests are highly respectful for a louder establishment and always recommend this place to anyone. Close proximity to the local site of Burnaby Lake. The janitor Javier is a beauty, and always smiled!
