I came here as a gift from a friend. It was my first experience floating, so I can't really compare to other places.I arrived a little early, but nobody was in the tank so the guy ran me through the tutorial and let me go in early for a bonus 10 minutes. The rooms are all private, with your own shower, slippers, housecoat, and towel. There's body wash and shampoo in a dispenser, or you can bring your own. The float itself was 90 minutes. It took me a while to settle down and find a comfortable position. I'm 6'6" and the tank was barely long enough, so I would drift into the walls occasionally. The tank has a latch on it, and may not be the greatest if you're claustrophobic. A small amount of light leaks in through one end, where the air intake is. You may want to bring a face mask if this bothers you. It's fairly quiet inside but I wore ear plugs. You could probably play music off your phone and set it near the tank door, or use waterproof headphones, or just sit with your thoughts...The time seems to go so slowly, then it's over before you know it. Music plays slowly inside the room when your time is up. They provide tea and water, and you can relax on the couch in the lobby before leaving.Overall, great experience! Very relaxing.
Really amazing experience at Float Sense. The staff is always very friendly and helpful with any concerns or questions you may have. The vibe that is created at Float sense is my favorite out of all the floating companies I have tried. Everything is prepared for you and scheduled times are always correct. However, their Hastings location has newer tanks that I find more comfortable.
Quiet, clean, friendly staff. I wish the rooms were kept a little warmer so it wasn't such a shock getting out of the tank.
First time here and it was a great experience. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Loved the concept of floating and quiet time. Unfortunately, I was looking for total silence, but there was this continuous humming sound that ruined it by the time I finally got into the zone (reason for 4 stars.. sorry). Not a huge deal, I think they did their best. Continue with the great service.
Went for the first time yesterday. Very relaxing and the staff were great. They provide everything for their guests.
