I find the layout of this store extremely confusing and random... like the yogurt aisle is in the cereal aisle... and then milk is halfway across the store?!! They have a great price on chicken here, tho. And the service is good.
I am currently working at this place. It's a decent store where you would find most of the products you require and those that Safeway offers.
I mostly shop here because of the location, but have expectations based on my history and familiarly with the company. Unfortunately I have been finding a number of expired products and produce on the shelves at this location. In the past two weeks I found on the store shelves veggie dogs that expired 5 months prior, salsa that had expired 1-2 months prior, yams that were visually perfect externally but full of soft smelly black rot in the middle. Yesterday I saw 5+ jugs of dairy substitute milk that were expiring that day, with no discount offered. Safeway, this doesn't seem like a very "safe" way to shop! I always remind myself to check expiration dates on every product I select from your shelves out of concern of consuming expired goods.Edit: I realize my above review is pretty negative. On the plus side, this store usually has the selection I'm looking for. I tend to shop the "sales" and often find what I'm looking for at a good price. The bakery items have been tasty, and the staff are friendly and professional.
Really friendly staff here especially at the deli section. Good place to get sandwiches made to order, ready-to-eat salads, and baked goods. It can get quite busy during lunch because of the large high school nearby.
Lovely and air conditioned! They have a Starbucks here so it's nice to be able to have some while I need to do my shopping. There are lots of staff working at all times, so if you need to find something, there's usually someone to help. The only reason why I give 4 stars (I would have given 4.5) is because I've often noticed that there is not always someone working in floral. I can ask the front desk to call someone from produce over the loud speaker, but it would be nice if that could be avoided.Also there's a great deli, dare I say even better than Subway??
