The karaoke machine is only in Chinese and had poor selection of non-Chinese songs.I noticed that most of the Korean song titles were pure gibberish and some of the songs had vocals throughout the whole song. The attendant taught me how to use the machine which was nice of him but it was still very laggy and confusing. Also there is a semi-mandatory tip they put on your bill regardless of how many people are going.
we left the room right after the 1hr mark. there's no attendant in the front, have to buzz for their attention. attendant takes forever to respond. I'm pretty sure we were charged for the time waiting to pay. songs/artist titles aren't in alphabetical order so spent a lot of time just searching. choose a different place instead of this one.
Touch screen system was only on Chinese. The room was lined with a glossy hard plastic that made the room look nice but made the microphone feedback horrendous. The karaoke machine would need a reboot after 1520 songs it seems like, that would reset all the volume and microphone to max output
Came here with a group of 12. Booked their largest room for $60/hr. Service is pretty much non-existent. Very limited number of English songs. Charged us $25 to bring us our birthday cake to our room and they didn't even cut the cake for us. We won't be coming here again.
Some of the 1 star reviews here are out of order but this place is definitely not for everyone. If you can read Chinese it is probably more suited to you. As an English karaoke user I'm OK with going to places where I am not the main clientele but honestly the computer system here is not really well set up for English - putting aside the fact that the system is in Chinese, you can't even search by song and the names of the artists are cut off at 10 characters or something. You kind of have to guess which artist JENNIFER is or whatever. ok so - the staff were nice and the rates are decent but they don't have a liquor license despite what the signs and website imply. I feel like that's kind of misleading. If you are OK with singing at a downmarket place without drinking I would recommend Galchae which is nearby and which has a slightly better computer system and English selection. The plus side to this place is that you can order Chinese food and bubble tea from a fairly extensive menu.
