Don't go if you don't like getting interrupted every few songs. 4 of us went. Paid and got into the room. While singing, staff came in abruptly, cancelled our song without explanation, kicked us out of the room, finally saying air conditioner didn't work properly in that room (it was working properly). We were moved to a bigger room because 2 customers came and they didn't want to give the big room to them. Wasted our time, didn't move the songs we had reserved. Nevermind being surprised and all that, we started singing again. Then after another 2 songs, staff came in abruptly again, saying a customer lost his bag in the room. They turned on the light and started searching. Gave us two bottles of water. Then entered again to ask if we were going to do 1 more hour. Then entered again on our last song to grab the song list. I mean... what the hell.
Price went up, again.Not too expensive, $30 per/h. But there are other $30 per/day activities which id rather do while singing.
Found this place online. Some issues with our communication with staff (I only speak English). We got a room right away, song selection was great for English speakers (not sure how new the songs are but lots of well known songs). It was also easy to use the equipment. Overall it was fun!
Wouldn't give us the smaller room and charged us double the price of the smaller room for a larger room that was completely unnecessary. We periodically came out for whatever reasons (smoking, bathroom, etc...) and we can see that the small room was not in used during our session.Place is a bit dated and mic quality is not great. They have a good selection of music, not for country lovers though. A lot of classics, throwbacks to the 90s and some casual trendy hits that are current.Bathroom doesn't have paper towers and you have to come out of the bathroom with your hands dripping with water to get the paper towel that is just hanging in an unfinished hallway. It's kind of gross.English isn't their best language so if you have a complaint it can feel like pulling teeth but that's not even a big problem if they were accommodating. Overall if you don't require any kind of service and don't need anything more than a poor quality mic and is okay with whatever room they deem fit for your needs with the owner guy barging into your room rudely then this is the place for you.
Good selections of Asian and north American music. I don't know when it started, but they stopped providing free water, popcorn and extensions. Before the hour could be stretched to 1.5 hrs or more.
