Joey is a great place for casual dining. The service and food quality is always expected to be very good and the prices are fair. The Brentwood Joey is a great place to hold your event as the space is fairly big and they have an upstairs portion which is nice. Their crispy mashed potatoes is a MUST try! it is soooo delicious.
I really like this place, and I've been here a lot throughout the years. I've never seen it at more than 50% capacity though, so I hope it stays around. Maybe I'm just going at slow times of the day.The food is great. The happy hour menu selection is pretty diverse. Washrooms are nice and clean. Servers a friendly and pretty upbeat. The decor is nice and welcoming. I don't think the layout has actually ever changed, so whoever designed this place did a good job making a future-proof layout.The parking lot is a bit of a pain right now with the construction, so you're better off parking on the side streets.
What I love about this JOEY's is the great decor/architecture and spacious location! It's one of the few places in the GVRD (and high real estate prices) where if you're in a larger group, you don't feel crowded (on a nice day try for the roof top patio). Food's always great and so is the service! Pricing and portions are reasonable compared to its competitors, like Cactus and Brown's (the latter's burgers look like sliders!). All in all, a good experience. So enjoy!
The tuna club sandwich is one of the best sandwiches you can get in all of Vancouver. Its the perfect blend of sweet and savoury. I dont know how it could be improved. From the bread to all the ingredients. This location also has a beautiful rooftop patio with an amazing view. Theres no need to talk about anything other than this sandwich. Its magical.
Went here for my birthday dinner and sat outside on their patio. The food and service were excellent. The patio was nice as it is covered but still outside. I would return.
