Wow. The food here is sumptuous. You know when you get Thai and the chicken is kind-of gamey and the veggies a bit too soft? Not at this place. I ate the red curry with chicken and all the ingredients were fresh, delicious and cooked just right. And the sauce! Creamy, flavourful, light and savoury. Another review mentioned that Chad Thai might be the best Thai food in Metro Vancouver -- I definitely agree with this! Do yourself a favour and eat here.
Good spot for lunch. One of the few places in this city where you don't have to pay for white tablecloths for good tasting Thai. Easy to get a flavorful lunch for less than $15 with tip.Fine place for dinner as well. Spice level is easy to customize. From mild to spicy and extra spicy.

I want to support local restaurants so took my family of 5 to try. Phoned ahead to see how busy they were and the staff were really inattentive. I finally asked to be seated in a 4 seat table just so that I can appease my hungry children so my 4 yr old sat on my lap. They completely forgot about us so helped ourselves to menus. Asked to order and then they forgot about us again. Another reminder got them to send someone to take out order. Food took forever like 45 min wait and not once came back to see how we were. Finally half of our order came. Asked where are the other two dishes and they said it was coming. Still there was no cutlery. Food was good but the service really spoiled the experience and even though we live only a couple of blocks away and reviews seems good, we will not be coming here again as it is not for families with young ones.
Googled this place and decided to give it a try. It surely did not disappoint! Thanks google reviewers.Service was wonderful and very accommodating as we have a young toddler and they put us at the back for a bit separation from other customers. Food was delicious! Ordered a red curry chicken and you could choose the spicy level you like. They were light on salt which makes it a bit healthier even! My husband ordered a pad Thai and the sweetness and the sourness just balance out beautifully.On top of it all, the price was great! Its roughly about $10 per dish and its hard to come by any Thai restaurant with this quality and price.
