You can judge a place by the lineup. We had to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes to be seated. It was well worth it. The best place for gourmet pasta. Very friendly staff, delicious food, great atmosphere. What else would you want in a restaurant? Oh, I know what you are thinking. The prices are so great. $17 for a gigantic plate that can be shared by two persons. There you have it!
Antons is a good place to stop if you are hungry. Emphasis is on quantity so make sure you come hungry, and you dont have to worry about packing lunch the next day. Service is fast and friendly as these guys know how to work at max capacity. Is it the best pasta in Vancouver? No, but it is worth a trip in for the experience.
With a huge selection of pasta dishes to choose from and portions that can feed two to three people for about $20 dollars it's hard not to like this place.Decided to go late at night on a weekday and it was full with a couple of people waiting ahead of us. My guess on weekends the wait times must be long so get there early, fortunately for us we only had to wait for about 10 minutes.Service was fast and pleasant. The waiter was in a good mood and seemed to have his A game that night. The pasta was piping hot and literally overflowing. We ordered two dishes and only managed to eat a portion before calling it quits. Leftovers for two nights it is. The waiter wasn't even surprised when we asked for containers since no one table was able to fimish their order.
I absolutely love pasta. It's my favourite food. And I must say that Anton's has the best pasta I've ever had from a restaurant. I was shocked at how enormous the portions were and how incredibly delicious and fresh it was. This place is far better than other higher priced Italian places. My favourite was the pesto dill sauce - WOW! Can't wait to come back! I would happily wait an hour to get in (although we came at lunch and walked right on in). And our server was fabulous. A+ all around
BEST FOOD EVER! I love going here for birthdays and special occasions! Their food is amazing and you get a huge portion for a great price! They have something on the menu for everyone. I would recommend planning accordingly and going an hour ahead of the time youd like to eat dinner as there is usually a line up to get in. Parties of 2 tend to get in quicker but its always worth the wait!
