I absolutely loved my stay here. I stayed for a few weeks while working in Vancouver. The staff are absolute gems. Always happy to help and obviously enjoy their jobs. Its very well run. I spent my days off on the sun deck and in the pool. The showers and facilities here are really well cared for. You couldnt ask for a better location for groceries, gas, commute, and for lovely walks, bike rides and dog walks. Thanks again Tarin and Iggy for a great check in. You guys really know your stuff. And thanks so much to Kim the manager. You have restored my faith in humanity. Such a great guy. Thanks to Mac who helped me park my trailer. And to each of the staff whos names I dont know, and each person who cares for the property: thank you all so much. I cant wait to return next year. Love and Light!

Very nice park. Indoor pool and hot tub, laundry, paved everything, blackberry trees everywhere. Somewhat pet friendly, they need your pet walked outside the park. There is a beautiful path close by. Very friendly helpful staff!! They know the local tourist things to do, they help you figure out how to get there via their transit. The north wall is not so good if youre a light sleeper as the train is just the other side of the blackberry bushes!

My beef here isn't with the train that runs all night long or the freeway, both that are right over head in the "European Style" tenting area, but with SECURITY! A known scam artist that comes at different hours and early mornings has been given a free ride in this place. We were not warned by staff and none of the other ten folks were either. When I confronted the desk in the morning a very rude and unsympathetic (east Indian) I only mention the nationality on the hopes the owner can identify him, says"yes I know" Why wasn't I warned or told about this? "We have a note on the door, and if it's busy we might forget to say anything" The note is a nondescript piece of paper with type easily missed when one has been given the rundown about park facilities which are nice, and location next to a large park by a lake, handed a number of papers maps bathroom codes to unlock doors etc,and you just want to get to your site and get your gear setup and your escape from regular life started. My core complaint is it would be so easy to put this note with bold heading in the locked bathroom where you would not miss it!! The next night a prowler opened our tent door, with the cover of train noise working to the offenders benefit. The lack of gates or security cameras and long hedges that cover the view of prowlers or scam artist from entering in this long established park has become a soft spot for them to operate. My wife and 5 year old daughter were very scared by this. Please take steps to protect your clientele!!!Russ Mott

We were very disappointed with this park. We were given a very small spot for our trailer (overall length 36") both in length and width. The spots are not angled and there are big hedges on either side so backing in was a challenge (experienced driver). They would not give us a larger spot (there were several vacant) even when we offered to pay whatever they wanted. They said they wouldn't put us in a spot that would take a 40' RV.. Even though we saw some small RVs in large spots. The final straw was that we couldn't leave our dogs in a kennel in a covered tent under the awning. So we left. The only good thing I can say is that they gave us a full refund.

Campground is good value, clean, well maintained, and well located in greater Vancouver to easily get to any nearby attractions or points of interest. The only downside is that the campground backs onto the very busy main CN train line that gets used all day and all night. Light sleepers would do best to avoid staying along the far north row of the site. Not only can it be loud, but the ground shakes noticeably.
